Sturdy Foundation

I'm sad to say that there will be no more new episode of Last Man Standing until April 13. What kind of madness is this? This is not cool and I'm not very happy about this. This is kind of like taking Barney away from the little kids after they found out that the purple dinosaur likes the white powder (cocaine) and hates kids. So, I'm going to have to talk about last year episodes, but wait the internet wont let me. Man the internet sucks, what kids of internet won't let people watch episodes online?

Week 11- Take Your Daughter to Work

So, last week I told you guys about Mandy’s new hippie boyfriend that was part of group called “PHART,” who doesn’t like to kill animals and is a weirdo. This week’s episode wasn’t about anybody trying to eat VEGAN FOOD and stop eating it because they are lame or anyone being part of a group that sounds like a bodily function. No, no this episode was one of the normal one’s that I’ve watched from Last Man Standing.

At the place that Mike works at is a magical day where you can take your daughter to work. Ed introduces his daughter to Mike’s daughter, then Ed starts showing off his daughter and Mike start showing off his, and it just turns into a competition for these two geezers. Ed’s daughter then shows herself off to Mike about all the great things that she does and basically tells Mike that she can be a better director of marketing than he can. Wow talk about self absorbed! She then blurts out a secret that Ed was supposed to tell Mike, that he was replacing Mike with his daughter of the new director of marketing for Outdoor Man.

That really peeves off Mike and he thinks that Ed’s daughter won’t last two seconds of being a director of marketing for Outdoor Man, and thinks that Ed made a BIG mistake. Well, of course he did, Ed’s perfect little daughter almost ruined everything she wanted to change everything about the store, not only that but she thinks that she is better than every one else. Who does this lady think she is? Long story short Ed fires her sorry butt and kicks her to the curb, he really doesn’t kick her to the curb but he does fire her butt.

Lesson of the day: Father’s don’t ever hire your daughter to take over your friend’s job because all they so is think they are better than everyone. True story!

Week 10- Animal Wrongs

I’m back and ready to tell you about another episode of Last Man Standing. Last week as Mandy was trying to become vegan…that was a fail. This week she has a boyfriend that is against animal cruelty. He’s a hippie and not because he’s against animal cruelty, but because he dresses like one and what he does. This shall be interesting because Mike likes to hunt and he owns a hunting store…OH NO!!!

Sorry but I have to say this, Terrance (Mandy’s hippie boyfriend) is part of a group called PHART...LOL, and Mike and Vanessa gave him crap because it sounds like “fart” and he throws a little hissy fit and starts to be rude. During the meeting with Terrance they realized that he was a hippie just like what I said and he wasn’t the nicest of hippies. Terrance wants to go to Mike’s work to apologize to him but he’s not there so he leaves him note that said, “PHART WAS HERE!” Hahaha… PHART, he also painted a bear statue.

Mandy feels stupid for trusting a hippie and she has doubts about their relationship together. The hippie was still in the store when Mandy and Mike walked in, and Mike scares him until he pops out of a corner. He talks to him and Terrance said that because of who Mike is he had to go on a strike, and his way of going on a strike was painting a statue bear. WOW!! Mandy did the right thing and kicked the hippie to the curb. See there is another lesson don’t get involved with a hippie that is part of a group called “PHART” because he will just end up painting a statue bear.

Week 9- Moon Over Kenya

So, the last episode that I told you about had ghosts...that gives me chills. Anyways, this episode has a teen weirdo on here that looks and sounds like he's on something, something not good;) Mike's store needs more business so they decide to make a commercial with a celeb who's CRAZYYY!! On the other hand Mandy decides to become vegan..wonder how long that will last?!

Back to the crazy guy, Vanessa invites the kid over for dinner and turns out he's not crazy but he's a normal person underneath that craziness. Mike the guy that didn't want anything to do with the kid actually likes him and the both of them starts bonding with each other. They talk about fishing and all that good stuff that no one wants to hear about.Turns out hiring a kid that it crazy for a commercial is a good thing.

Now lets go back to Mandy, SHE CAN'T HANDLE VEGAN FOOOD!! Everyone in her family gave her a day but she fooled them because she made it two whole days of eating groos vegan food. Looks like she did want her BIG JUICY STEAK after all. So, there is a lesson for all those kids who think that they should become vegan don't attempt something that you can't handle, that's all there is to it.

Week 8- House of Spirits

The Last Man Standing always seems to make me laugh, it never gets old. This television show is like an obsession, I can't get enough of them. Again, I will try to break this one down  like I did last weeks. It's like God created this television show just for me, Tim Allen is hilarious to watch you can never get enough of the old man.

It's Mikes birthday and his family was nice enough to get him gifts. Mandy got him coupons for a hug, Kristen got him a 17 year bacon certificate, and his wife got him a book about the neighborhood. As Mike is reading the book her discovers that there was an old lady that used to live in their house and she died in Mandy's room, the old ladies friend also lived in that house and she died too. Now everyone in the house is thinking that it's haunted. So, during the night all of his girls crawl in to bed with their parents and Mike tries to go to sleep.

In comes the medium. The family thinks that a medium will help get rid of their spirits, but I don't know if it will help. What this medium does is encourages the spirits to leave their house and of course Mike thinks that she is a crazy lady, to me I think she's a fake. She doesn't even do anything spiritual, the only thing that she did was tell them to leave and open the door, in my opinion she needs to go back to the looney bin.

So, Mike the genius of the bunch decides to do some research on the house and the people that lived in it, and discovers the people that died in the house died while being surrounded by family and friends. That made Vanessa feel better because she has a fear of dying alone and she didn't want that to happen to these people. Man, people really do care.

Week 7- Ding Dong Ditch

This week as I have to, I watched another episode of Last Man Standing. Since last weeks blog apparently didn't make any sense, I will try to break this one down a little better. To me I thought that this episode was more funny then the others that I have watched. According to the views so did everyone else.

At the beginning of the show Vanessa thinks that the family spends more time watching television then they do talking. So, Mike turns off the television and the family tries to talk but they gets interrupted by the door bell, who happens to be a ding dong dicher. Luckily, Mike had a camera by the front door so he can catch the pranker. They try to see who the pranker is but his face is covered up. Eve knows who it is, it's Ben her crush from school;)

During the night Mike decides to sit in front of the door so he can catch the kid. Ben (the pranker) comes up to the door, rings the doorbell and Mike blows an air horn. The kid runs and trips over a little motorcycle that was left in front of the house. They bring in Ben and Mike tells Vanessa to call the police but she doesn't so they just  to talk to him. Ben tells him that it will never happen again and Vanessa thinks that they should let him go but Mike doesn't think that they should. Later, he gives in and lets Ben run.

Ben's dad comes over to Mike’s house and tries to talk to him. He tells him that when Ben tripped he sprained his wrist and he wants Mike and Vanessa to pay the doctor bill, which is $300. Mike and Vanessa thinks that is a bunch of poo and say "no" to that idea. So, Ben’s dad plans on taking them to court.
The next day Mike comes home from work finds Eve cuddling up outside listening to music with Ben. He feels that she lied to him because she was telling him that she doesn’t know who he is. Eve apologizes to her dad for lying to him, they make up and he punishes her by telling her that she has to pay half for Ben’s hospital bill. Then they all live happily ever after.

HOPE THAT MAKES SENSE ENOUGH!!

Week 6- Baxtar & Sons

Yesterday, I watched the epsiode Baxtar & Sons of Last Man Standing. This episode has a couple of guest stars; Mike Rowe who plays Mike's younger brother Jim and Robert Foster who plays Mike's dad Bud. This had a lot of fights between Jim and Mike, and Mike and their dad. It was a very entertaining episode to watch!

Jim (Mike's younger brother) plans on making a new Outdoor Man shop. Mike doesn't really like the idea as he doens't like to mix family and business. When Jim and Mike were growing up they were always competing with each other and now that they are older having that issue with one another builds to their tensions. Mike later than finds out that his dad is also into Jim's whole project idea and that doens't make him any happier.

He tells his wife Vanessa about his brothers whole plan and she think that Mike should let go of any past issues with his brother and give his idea a try. The business venture gets off to a rocky start when a guy who knows Kristin from school turns down Jim’s request for a startup loan. Mike’s offer to cosign the loan has the younger Baxter boy offended at being treated like a charity case.
The ensuing argument spills over from the bank offices to the Baxter home. Bud chases after Jim when he cancels the entire project. This gives Vanessa a chance to let Mike know that the job isn’t just about building a new store. It’s about his dad wanting to be near his family. Later, Ed puts an end to all the family strife by awarding the job to his second choice.

Jim knows that the construction company Ed opts to go with is a bunch of crooks. That’s why he finally agrees to let Mike cosign the loan. A partnership begins and Baxter and Sons is back in business!
Mandy wants to set up her grandfather with a lady. She played matchmaker with a girl at school who is now pregnant, so she’s pretty good at what she does. She locks down the perfect elderly companion online. Too bad Bud already has a girlfriend. Looks like Mandy will have to act as a proxy during an upcoming senior square dance she booked with one hot grandma.
